A Florida native, Heather has managed a rich and varied career in theatre and music. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from University of Florida and is currently working towards a second Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance at New World School of the Arts. Throughout the years, she has worked as an actor and freelance voice talent appearing in the southeastern premieres of Affluenza! by James Sherman (New
Theatre) and Painted Alice (Mad Cat). Most recently, she appeared at Gablestage in the workshop production of September 10th, an original play by Arturo Fernandez with the company Ground Up and Rising. As a voice talent, she has dubbed leads in Spanish novellas such as El Cuerpo del Deseo and Cuando Seas Mia to name a few. She also provided the voice for the character of Panty in the English version of Noah’s Ark, a feature film that was shown last year at the Cannes Film Festival.
As far as the opera stage is concerned, Heather performed in New World’s production of Hansel and Gretel (Gretel) last year and will be seen again this year at the Gusman in Cosi Fan Tutte (Despina). In addition to her work as an actor,
Heather has worked as a professional soloist and last year appeared as the Soprano II soloist in Vivaldi’s Gloria under the baton of Sir David Willcocks. As a church soloist, Heather has felt proud to call St.Thomas Episcopal Church her home. Feeling that it is now time to move onto new challenges, she looks forward to accepting a new position at St. Stephen’s this April. Heather is very excited to be working at the Lyric Conservatory of Music.
